Customs Mumbai Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
- Seaman
- Essential: 10th grade pass or equivalent, with three years of experience on a mechanized sea-going vessel, including two years in helmsman and seamanship roles.
- Desirable: Certificate of Competency as “Mate of Fishing Vessel” from the Marine Mercantile Department.
- Greaser
- Essential: 10th grade pass or equivalent, with three years of experience on a mechanized sea-going vessel in main and auxiliary machinery maintenance.
- Desirable: Certificate of Competency as “Engine Driver of Fishing Vessel” from the Marine Mercantile Department.
Age Limit (as of 17.12.2024):
- Seaman: 18 to 25 years
- Greaser: 18 to 25 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
- OBC Candidates: 3 years
- PwBD (General/EWS): 10 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years

- Seaman: Level 1, Rs. 18,000 – Rs. 56,900 per month
